The proposal reflects typologies and living patterns of the local area while influenced by the Australian coastal lifestyle so prominent to the location. Featuring natural hues, open balconies and a contrast in warm and cold textures,

The proposal draws upon the unique ecological character of the Bondi area, presenting a planting aesthetic that has a consistent language and connection with the existing local native environment. Using a predominantly native palette allows a gentle softening of the building footprint around the perimeters into the wider streetscape, whilst still expressing the building character through iconic Cabbage Tree Palms and feature succulent planting.
