In Development
Nestled within a boutique block of landscaped gardens, the site sits quietly between Murdoch Street and Education Lane, allowing the building to engage both street and garden with equal sensitivity.
The design emerges from a careful reading of the land, responding to its subtle diagonal slope while respecting the scale and rhythm of the surrounding streetscape. The building’s form flows with the site, balancing a clear architectural language with a sensitivity to its neighbours. Curved slab edges within vertical bays introduce a horizontal rhythm, softening the overall mass while giving the façade a sense of movement and refinement. Materials and detailing have been chosen to complement the setting, bridging interior and exterior with textures and tones that resonate with the landscaped surroundings.
FOCUS ON LIVING
Inside, each apartment is designed to feel connected to the outside. Living areas and balconies are oriented to capture sunlight and encourage cross-ventilation, fostering spaces that are light, airy, and comfortable. Ground-level communal areas provide a range of experiences—from quiet retreats to lively social spaces—where residents can gather, relax, or simply enjoy the changing light throughout the day. Every design decision has been guided by the goal of creating a residential environment that is functional, generous, and welcoming.
architecture in dialogue with context
Rather than dominate the street, the building engages with it, modulating its massing and façade articulation to respond to views, sunlight, and privacy. Its aesthetic is contemporary yet grounded, with subtle shifts in form and materiality that acknowledge the immediate context while asserting its own identity. The result is a residence that feels inherently of its place—a building that integrates seamlessly with its landscape and streetscape, enhancing the everyday experience of living in this part of Cremorne.
